A bit about me!
I’m Andy, (AKA Tommo) early 50’s Dad of 2, who loves sports especially everything horse racing. I have always worked full time, but have recently decided to follow my dream and set up my own racing business.
Where it began!
Well, where do I start? Well, my Grandad was a bookies runner, his love of the horses was then passed on to my Dad, who loved nothing more than betting on horse racing, and enjoying the thrill of watching the horses on TV.
As a teenager, I started following in my Dads footsteps, and soon grew a love for the sport. I started following horses, the likes of Desert Orchid, Rooster Booster and AP McCoy to name but a few.
25 years In the making
My Dad and I would often book the week off work for the Cheltenham Festival, and spend the week watching the racing. From there, we would regularly attend John Smiths, lads days out like stag do’s, and have been every year for at least the last 25 years.
In addition, I regularly attended The Grand National, Ladies Days, and Music festivals. From this, I have progressed with small shares in syndicates through to bigger shares in smaller syndicates, and finally, after loving being a share owner, I have now moved into owning racehorses myself. I thoroughly enjoy the social side of attending the events as an owner and would love the opportunity to share this with you.
